Team DDMIX!

“Movement to music makes children come alive and changes the way they feel. Dance fitness can stimulate the child’s interest in sport, in the arts and give them the confidence to explore their own creativity in other fields. I’m incredibly excited to be joining schools all over the UK with a live dance lesson, I hope you’ll join me!”

Dame Darcey Bussell, DBE

Who is DDMIX?

Diverse Dance Mix (or DDMIX) is a UK charity founded by Dame Darcey Bussell DBE, offering inspiring dance schemes of work to primary schools.
Our lessons follow the National Curriculum PE Guidelines for EYFS, KS1 and KS2, developing skills in dance, dynamics, character, narrative, group formation and many more. We believe in celebrating the achievements of all pupils, embracing diversity and focusing on the five steps to wellbeing, in a non-competitive and inclusive setting.
