“Movement to music makes children come alive and changes the way they feel. Dance fitness can stimulate the child’s interest in sport, in the arts and give them the confidence to explore their own creativity in other fields. I’m incredibly excited to be joining schools all over the UK with a live dance lesson, I hope you’ll join me!”
Dame Darcey Bussell, DBE

Is this really free?
Yes! We will be offering this first-of-its-kind live DDMIX dance class with Dame Darcey Bussell, to UK primary schools!
What will we need?
Technology; an internet connected device. A whiteboard or projector will work best to ensure all of your pupils can see and hear the lesson, but any internet connected device will work.
Equipment; this low-impact session doesn’t require any equipment. We advise pupils wear their typical PE kit to help with ease of movement.
Will this dance fitness class be accessible to children from all backgrounds and abilities?
Inclusivity is vitally important to us. During the session, Dame Darcey Bussell DBE will lead, with a supporting instructor to show how movements can be simplified and adapted, including how the DDMIX dance fitness class can be complete while sat down.
