DDMIX 1980’s – ‘Shapes’
Welcome to a sample of our DDMIX for Schools programme.

Here you will be able to sample a lesson plan, introducing the DDMIX 1980s genre.

This is a lesson plan aimed at Key Stage 2/Progression Step 3 lessons, however it can be easily adapted and delivered to Key Stage 1 /Progression Step 2 pupils.

You will find a descriptive breakdown for the introduction activity along with the music and picture resources.

There is a video breaking down the 4 key movements that you can take a look at before delivering to the children.

Please do get in touch if you have any questions at all at this point at info@ddmixforschools.com

Our Schemes of Work written for EYFS, KS1 & KS2 (Progression Steps 1-3), use many genres from all over the world and throughout the ages.

The genres and skills are introduced through games and activities that encourage the children to offer their own ideas and movements, keeping the class active and boosting creative confidence to the whole class.
